Whitney Falcon is our
lead guide in the Young
Children's Community.
She is certified by the
American Montessori
Society (AMS) for the
birth to three years
level. Whitney's
first introduction to
Montessori came in 1991
when she accepted a position as an
assistant at a school in
Houston, TX. After
her initial experience,
Whitney worked in a
variety of different
Montessori schools in
various capacities to
increase her knowledge
and understanding of the
Montessori philosophy..
In 2000, Whitney was
thrilled to be offered
the opportunity to
receive her Montessori
Teacher training at the
Center for Montessori
Teachers Education in
New York, where she
studied under Virginia Varga, who pioneered the
first toddler Montessori
program in the United
States in 1964.
In 2003, Whitney
moved to Austin with her
husband John, their 2
children, and many pets.
