Kaylen Nique

Kaylen grew up in Lawrence, Kansas, where she attended a Montessori elementary school. After spending her freshman year of college abroad in Madrid, Spain, she studied at Rice University and graduated with a B.A. in studio art. After graduation, Kaylen worked briefly at Montessori Country Day School in Houston, and has longed to get back to a Montessori birth-to-three classroom ever since. After a few years working in the museum and consulting worlds, Kaylen is finally back and delighted to be working with Kyndra as an assistant guide in Mariposa's Nido.

Kaylen lives in South Austin with her 112 pound bullmastiff, Bella. Her interests include healthy foods, tai chi, places, cultures, languages, writings, movies, live music, and making friends with those she encounters along the way.
