Art week will allow the children to express themselves through many different mediums. This year the theme of the week is "Art About Me." During the program they will be able to express themselves through drawing, sculpting, and crafting. Some project ideas include: life-sized drawings of each child where the child will be able to portray himself/herself, drawing to music, and making sculptures of subjects of the child's own choosing.

During music week we will introduce the children to some of the great artists in music history. They will learn about a diverse range of music from country (Woody Guthrie) to rock and roll (The Beatles). The children will get the chance to see, hear, and play with real musical instruments as well as make their own that they can bring home!

Spanish week will use song, food, art, and games to introduce the children to the many different cultures in which Spanish is spoken, and to see how Spanish is an important part of our culture in Austin, Texas. It will be an interactive and fun way for the children to develop an understanding of our global community through a love of languages.
