The Mariposa Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

Mission Statement

The mission of the Mariposa Montessori School Parent Teacher Organization (MMSPTO) is to promote and enhance the school's mission through a cooperative fellowship between children, parents, and staff.  The organization is to be a vehicle through which parents have the opportunity to become an active part of the school community.  Our objectives include: assist in the facilitation of parent volunteer activities within and outside of the school day, heighten community visibility, facilitate projects that serve the greater community, facilitate communications among families interested in further school involvement and the school faculty, and raise financial support for the school.

  • Babysitting Swap: Great NEWS for Parents, the PTO has decided to sponsor a babysitting swap! One common thread Mariposa parents have shared is the need and desire to get out for a little adult time every once in a while. Because we have such a great community of parents that share a common need, we also share a common solution.
