January -2009 The Kindergarten Year

Ms. Kimberly will be sharing information about the kindergarten year in a Montessori Children's House environment. We encourage families from all environments to attend in order to learn about the importance of the 3 year cycle in the Children's House environment.

March -2009 Birth to 3 yr. old Phase of Development

Ms. Whitney will be holding a question and answer session on the Birth to 3 yr. old phase of development.

April 30, 2009 Nutrition

Ms. Destiny and Ms. Tina will present information about healthy eating and earth-friendly ways to pack your child's lunch.

September 24, 2009 Montessori 'Sensitive Periods'

Several teachers will be presenting information about Montessori’s ‘Sensitive Periods’

October 29, 2009 Adult language used with Children at School & Home

Several staff members will speak briefly about age-appropriate language that is commonly used by adults at the school and can be used at home as well. There will be a question and answer session following the presentations.

December 10, 2009 Montessori Environment

Ms. Kimberly will be speaking about; Independence, Concentration, Coordination and Order in relation to children and the Montessori environment.

January 28, 2010 Clothing Choices

Lead Guides from each environment present information about clothing choices for your child and how these choices help or hinder your child's success in school.
